Chicano Head Tattoo Manchester

Black and Grey Tattoo Manchester

Tattooing my client was an experience to remember, he came from down south to live in Greater Manchester, his Dad was from Bury, and his Mum from down South, and when he moved to Bury he found our studio.

When he first walked in we discussed about his idea, he requested a Chicano clown face, I was into it straight way, I love black and grey Chicano requests, as I’m South American, so I can relate to it.

So I took a picture of his head, and did a photoshop image to his head, in order for him to see what the Tattoo was going to look like. Back and forth, we changed the image a bit for his taste, which I’m totally cool about it, changing the design for the client if needed. As soon as the client is happy with the Tattoo, I’m happy to change the design as many times as needed.

My client wanted the tattoo done in one session, but I had to mention that Its better to work calmly and not rush the Tattoo. I had to mention that if the tattoo was not finished in one session, I did not want to worry about it, as quality comes before quantity, and he was happy to go ahead with it, so that made me feel comfortable and go ahead with it.

Having a consultation, it really helps to get the vibes with a client, before going ahead with a Tattoo, tattooing someone it requires a lot of time in the chair, so you want to spend time with people you feel comfortable and positive about.

When I started the tattoo, I felt positive about the ink going in the skin, and my client was very chilled. Tattooing the head is such a different experience than tattooing any other parts of the body, because the head it feel tougher.

Getting the head tattooed is not fun at all in terms of how it feels, I have my head tattooed myself, and it was not fun at all. I have to admit, it was probably the most painful tattoo I have ever got done, it was awful, however, I’m very happy with it, I believe the more the tattoo hurts, the better it looks on the body, so head tattoos do hurt, I’m not going to lie, but they do look cool when they are done, and all healed.

Anyway, we managed to get it done in one session, I was impressed how quick we actually got the tattoo done, however, I knew I would need to see the tattoo healed, specially being on the head, I wanted to make sure the tattoo healed really well, that it was going to look the best as possible, and once the skin is quiet sore, I do not attempt to carry on with the session to avoid being over worked.

In this image the Tattoo was very fresh, I will be taking a picture of this head tattoo fully healed tomorrow, and I can not wait to upload here for you guys to check it out.

Thank you for reading my blog, and until next time!
