Meeting Ruth it was an experience to remember, she wanted to get a letter in the back of her ear, however, she also wanted to speak about a cover-up on her arm. She had 2 Chinese symbols on her arm, and she wanted to cover them up with a humming bird and some nature around it.

She lives in Ramsbotton in Greater Manchester, and she was looking for a local tattoo Artist in Greater Manchester. After doing some research, Ruth liked the website and the work I did and got in touch with me for a consultation. In the consultation she explained to me what she wanted to get done, however, she seemed open minded to get something unique.

Ruth forwarded me some ideas, and, the ideas were a good guide for me, and I love when the client gives me a start I can begin from. Anything helps to get me started. So I was happy to receive the ideas, however, I noticed, the images were the kind of tattoos that a lot of people are doing it, or getting it done.

I wanted to design something just for Ruth, and having a consultation with her, I notice she was intelligent and open minded, so i spent a quiet long time planning the drawing, I thought, because it was going on her arm, the more time I spend on the drawing, the better.

I’m a fan of 3d tattoos, and I wanted to incorporate in Ruths tattoo, a 3d looking tattoo, however I was not sure how she was going to react with the suggestion. So despite being not sure about her reaction to the 3d idea, I still went ahead with the custom design.

I booked a consultation so Ruth could see her art work, she came along, and she loved the idea. I was so happy she was open minded to the idea, and willing to create something new, instead of being stuck with the original idea. A lot of clients see a tattoo online, that has already been done to someone else, and they get over obsessed with the image or idea, blocking new ideas, or even possibilities of a design improvement.

Being open minded, and trustworthy of your Tattoo Artist’s ability in Greater Manchester, it allows the tattoo to take improvement and the possibility of a custom made tattoo can increase based on the Tattoo Artist’s artistic capability.

So, I would like to resume this post, saying that, Ruth deserved to have this Tattoo, and the reason why it looks so unique, is because, she was willing to be open minded, and she was open to new ideas. She gave me her idea, however, she also trusted in my artistic vision. So if you do get the balance, between letting the artist know what you want, trust their artistic capability and giving the artist a bit of freedom to work with your design, you will collect the best and most unique tattoo.
